Bureau Veritas North America turned an at-risk ERP deployment into a success story with AI Advisory Group’s change and alignment strategy.
The Opportunity
Bureau Veritas North America, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, was nearing the final stage of a complex ERP rollout. The system had the potential to transform operational efficiency, but adoption was faltering. Teams were defaulting to manual processes, and skepticism about new technology was spreading.
Previous software implementations had left employees cautious and disengaged. Misaligned workflows, limited user involvement, and poor communication created confusion and slowed progress. With more digital initiatives on the horizon, leadership knew that this implementation had to succeed to rebuild trust and establish a stronger foundation for change.
The organization needed a way to bring people, processes, and technology back into alignment before go-live slipped off course.
The Solution
Christopher was brought in, by request, to guide the final phase of deployment using his Decision Validation and Change Management approach. The focus was on rebuilding confidence, improving alignment, and turning the ERP system into something employees could see value in immediately.
The engagement began with targeted interviews and workflow analysis to uncover points of resistance. From there, we worked with leadership to create a plan that addressed both the human and operational barriers. Training sessions and interactive workshops helped employees reconnect with the purpose behind the system, while transparent communication kept everyone informed and engaged.
To build early momentum, we implemented several quick-win automations that eliminated repetitive manual reporting and improved accuracy. These visible improvements helped shift perception and demonstrated how the system could make work easier, not harder.
By addressing alignment and validation together, Bureau Veritas regained control of its rollout and re-energized its workforce in the process.
The Impact
Within a short period, adoption and engagement improved across every department. What began as a struggling implementation turned into a model for how to lead change successfully.
95% ERP Adoption Rate: The system was fully adopted across all business units.
70% Fewer Manual Processes: Automation saved over 300 hours of repetitive work each month.
$300K in Annual Savings: Streamlined workflows reduced costs and unlocked measurable efficiency gains.
Improved Employee Morale: Transparent communication and quick wins rebuilt trust across teams.
The ERP system is now a cornerstone of daily operations at Bureau Veritas North America. By validating decisions before acting and focusing on people first, the company not only completed its deployment but also built a framework for future transformation success.
I have had the privilege of working with Chris on several different projects and he is on his "A" game at all times. He has an incredible knowledge and expertise regarding digital transformation, innovation and driving process efficiencies.
